 This is an in-per­son, full-time posi­tion report­ing to the Direc­tor of Research and Devel­op­ment at our head­quar­ters in Cen­ten­ni­al, Col­orado. We are look­ing for a process engi­neer expe­ri­enced in roll-to-roll (R2R) man­u­fac­tur­ing who will work to improve our cur­rent pro­duc­tion process­es as well as devel­op new process­es for future prod­ucts.

 RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Col­lab­o­rate with sci­en­tists to scale new prod­uct devel­op­ment
  • Iden­ti­fy and devel­op process­es for new prod­uct devel­op­ment
  • Con­tin­u­ous­ly improve exist­ing process equip­ment
  • Trou­bleshoot prob­lems asso­ci­at­ed with man­u­fac­tur­ing process­es
  • Mon­i­tor man­u­fac­tur­ing through applied sta­tis­tics
  • Devel­op and improve process doc­u­men­ta­tion and oper­at­ing instruc­tions
  • Devel­op best prac­tices, rou­tines, and inno­v­a­tive solu­tions to improve pro­duc­tion rates and qual­i­ty of out­put
  • Pro­vide process doc­u­men­ta­tion and oper­at­ing instruc­tions
  • Con­duct research to devel­op new and improved process­es for man­u­fac­tur­ing
  • Con­duct tests and mon­i­tor the process per­for­mance through­out pro­duc­tion
  • Mon­i­tor third-par­ty man­u­fac­tur­ers’ work for prod­uct per­for­mance
  • Eval­u­ate process­es and equip­ment to ensure com­pli­ance with envi­ron­men­tal and safe­ty reg­u­la­tions
  • Ensure adher­ence to all safe­ty prac­tices, pro­grams, and reg­u­la­tions
  • Mis­cel­la­neous duties as assigned by super­vi­sor
  • Trav­el or tem­po­rary work loca­tion may be required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Thor­ough under­stand­ing of health and safe­ty prac­tices, pro­grams, and reg­u­la­tions with a demon­strat­ed his­to­ry of fos­ter­ing a safe­ty-mind­ed cul­ture
  • Proven work expe­ri­ence in R2R process engi­neer­ing
  • Strong orga­ni­za­tion­al skills and abil­i­ty to mul­ti-task
  • Self-moti­vat­ed with the abil­i­ty to work inde­pen­dent­ly as well as a mem­ber of a team
  • Great com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills
  • Excel­lent tech­ni­cal and prob­lem-solv­ing skills
  • Knowl­edge of process relat­ed stan­dards
  • Ana­lyt­i­cal thinker with inter­per­son­al skills
  • A desire to learn

 EDUCATION/TRAINING:

  • BS degree in Engi­neer­ing or equiv­a­lent
  • Min­i­mum 5 years of expe­ri­ence in R2R process engi­neer­ing
  • Strong back­ground in man­u­fac­tur­ing-relat­ed sta­tis­tics

  • Base Salary Range: $90,000 — $110,000*
